The walk-in wardrobe

A walk-in wardrobe
is the dream of every woman.

For a long time, a walk-in wardrobe was a real luxury that only well-off people could afford. But for several years an increasing number of "average earners" in Germany are also treating themselves to this practical and elegant way of storing their clothes and accessories. The pioneer is the USA, where a walk-in wardrobe (or walk-in closet) has long been a standard feature of many homes. The walk-in wardrobe is not only used as a place to store the clothing, but also as a dressing room.

All kinds of different walk-in wardrobes are available. In modern new buildings a small separate room next to the bedroom is planned as part of the layout and is fitted out as a walk-in wardrobe. Alternatively, the walk-in wardrobe is integrated directly into the bedroom. This of course means that the bedroom must have sufficient space, because a walk-in wardrobe takes up several square metres. If it is also designed in an aesthetically attractive way, for example, with high-quality veneer, the bedroom is improved visually still further by integrating the walk-in wardrobe. This means that its colour and design must harmonise with the rest of the bedroom.

A walk-in wardrobe is the dream of every woman; after all, it solves the reasonable question of where to put all the beautiful skirts, blouses, shoes, not forgetting the accessories. But it is definitely more than just storage space. With an interior orientated to the user's individual clothing preferences, it makes it possible to find the right outfit easily and quickly. Such a walk-in wardrobe is also ideal for presenting a person's clothing highlights to friends impressively. It also makes it easier for men to make the often exasperating choice of daily clothing and also gives them a better overview.
